TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Terms and Conditions of the Refer a Friend promotion are in addition to Hello Paisa’s standard Terms and Conditions, which remain in force and shall continue to apply herein.

You hereby accept that you are bound to the Terms and Conditions of the “Refer a Friend promotion” as offered by Hello Paisa (Pty) Ltd, hereinafter referred to as HP, and accept and agree that the Terms and Conditions hereunder form an agreement between you and HP.

• A Referrer is an existing HP customer who refers a friend to HP.
• A Referee is a New Customer who has been referred to HP by the Referrer.
• A Referral Reward is a rand amount awarded to a Referrer for referring a New Customer to sign up with and transact using HP. The Referral Reward is assigned to the Referrer once the New Customer has transacted on HP using the referral code.
• Sign-Up Reward is a rand amount awarded to a New Customer for signing up with a referral code passed to the New Customer by a Referrer.
• Referral Period is the period in which the Referral Reward is valid and available for use by a Referrer. The length of the term of the Referral Period is within the sole discretion of HP and shall be set by HP from time to time.
• Sign-up Period is the period in which the Sign-Up Reward is valid and available for use for use by a New Customer. The New Customer must use the Sign-up Reward within the Sign-Up Period. The length of the term of the Sign-Up Period is within the sole discretion of HP and shall be set by HP from time to time.
• A Referrer may be entitled to a Referral Reward for each New Customer referred to HP.
• A Referral Reward is only valid for the Referral Period.
• A New Customer is only entitled to the Sign-Up Reward once his/her sign-up application has been approved by HP.
• A New Customer is only entitled to a Sign-Up Reward once off.
• A Sign-Up Reward is only valid for the Sign-Up Period.
• Only 1 (one) Referral Reward can be used by the Referrer per transaction.
• The Referral Reward is transferable, between HP customers only, and may be pushed to other HP customers.
• The Referral Period for a Referrer may be extended by HP, in its sole discretion, depending on the amount of Referral Rewards that have been accumulated by the Referrer.
• The Rewards as stated herein are not redeemable, transferable or exchangeable for cash and shall only be used on the HP platform for HP transactions on the terms and conditions as set out herein.
• The Terms and Conditions of this agreement will remain in force until the Refer a Friend promotion is withdrawn or amended by HP.
• HP reserves the right to terminate the Refer a Friend promotion and withdraw from these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
• HP accepts no liability for losses incurred by you for any cause whatsoever as a result of HP allowing you to use the Refer a Friend promotion. You waive any rights that you have or may obtain against HP arising directly or indirectly from any losses or damages which you may suffer as a result of your use of the Refer a Friend promotion.
• You authorize HP to share your transaction information, as provided by you, with the Referrer and/or Referee as the case may be.
• HP may change the Terms and Conditions contained in this Agreement from time to time by informing you of any changes hereto.
• You confirm and agree to the Refer a Friend promotion Terms and Conditions set by HP.
